Let the Preparations begin

Alicia Marie born March 4, 1971
40 years ago, Colleen was at the end of her second pregnancy.  She was eager to see if she was to have another son or a daughter.  Colleen had a wonderful pregnancy, only gaining 25 pounds, a trait she would not pass on to her daughters.  That was my mother and the next day she gave birth to her 2nd child a daughter, me.  Oh my, how did this happen.  Yep, tomorrow I turn 40.  I have never been one to stress birthdays and this is really no exception.  I don't mind turning 40.  It kind of sounds old but doesn't really bother me.  For most of my life people have mistaken me for younger and I was told I would appreciate it when I got older.  I have had a wonderful life full of family, freinds and a Godly heratige.  My children are in preparations of making me a chocolate birthday celebrations.  There is cooking going on everywhere and my eldest daughter is in her element.  I thought I would share some pictures of my life.  I have so many and if you came to my house I would love to share, as I would also love to see pictures of your life.  Life is such a precious and wonderful thing.  What a great gift God has given each of us, the gift of Life.  I pray that my life will be a blessing to others especially my husband, children, parents, siblings, and freinds.  I thank my God for the gift of life he has given to each of them and the blessing they are to me.  I have been often asked don't you want to have a career, don't you want to do something with your life.  My career is what I am doing, being a help meet to my husband and doing my best to raise Godly children.  Why would I want anything else.  Thank you God for allowing me the life I always dreamed of.  I can see no greater thing to do with my life.  God Bless you all.
